October 18-19, 2018 in Vladivostok, on the initiative of the Primorsky Krai Administration, the XII International Environmental Forum "Nature without borders" will be held.
The forum is the largest branch event in the Far East and Transbaikalia, which addresses issues on improving environmental policy, ensuring a favorable environment and environmental security, and strengthening international cooperation in these areas.
During the twelve-year history of the Forum, thousands of specialists, scientists, representatives of business, government, and public organizations took part in its work. Under the auspices of the Forum, a constructive dialogue is held on the protection of the environment, important issues of waste processing, reduction of environmental risks in industry are discussed.
At the plenary and breakout sessions, round tables and discussions, it is proposed to discuss, with the participation of international experts, the most pressing issues of environmental issues: innovations in environmental legislation, implementation of environmental initiatives by the President of the Russian Federation, introduction of best available technologies, waste management, monitoring of the state and pollution of the environment, changes, biodiversity conservation, development of ecological tourism, education and awareness.
In addition, the Forum focuses on topical issues related to the sustainable development of the Far Eastern region, including the development of port infrastructure, the preservation of specially protected natural areas, the prevention of natural disasters, pollution and depletion of water bodies.
The issues of improving state policy in the sphere of environmental protection are at the center of federal and regional attention. Today, everyone understands that the solution of environmental problems is impossible without the consolidation of the efforts of government bodies, science, business and society. This is primarily the importance of such venues as the Forum "Nature without borders", on which all conditions for a constructive dialogue are created.
